According to Mr. Piter, a farmer group leader in the Baliem Valley, Wamena, Papua, where in 1981-1984 his family and farmers received seeds from the Indonesian government and in 1994 began harvesting and until now it has been developed throughout the Baliem Valley, Wamena.

Papua Wamena Arabica Coffee grows in the Baliem Valley, Jayawijaya Mountains, Wamena without using chemical fertilizers. The very fertile soil conditions of Papua make the coffee produced have very good quality. Papua Wamena Arabica Coffee is classified as Organic Coffee based on the natural growth process.

The taste of Papua Wamena coffee is very unique. The aroma of the coffee produced is quite fragrant chocolate and floral, low acidity, to medium body, sweet aftertaste. Many coffee lovers think that this rare floral aroma is caused by the height of the land and the planting method without using pesticides.
